Villa Management in the Maremma
Tripcare, a boutique property-management company for luxury villas in Tuscany, looks after Maremma with its own teams. The Maremma is Tuscany at its widest and least served: many companies stop at Siena, and Maremma owners know it well. Distances here are real — the Castiglione coast to the Scansano hills is an hour’s drive — and precisely for this, serious management is organised differently: zone calendars, local suppliers, grouped interventions.

The stock runs from seaside houses — salt air, a short ferocious season, timed Saturday changeovers — to country estates with olive groves and cellars, to houses near Saturnia that work with the springs all year. Two seasons coexist: the coast explodes between June and August and fades early; the inland — Saturnia first — works through autumn and winter, when the springs are the reason for the trip. A well-positioned Maremma house can stack both calendars; the pricing plan has to read them both.

Coast and springs: two seasons in one house
Tripcare manages two non-overlapping calendars in the Maremma: the coast — Castiglione della Pescaia, Talamone, the Argentario, Capalbio — explodes between June and August with Saturday changeovers and summer ZTLs, while inland Saturnia works from October to March with its 37-degree springs. A well-positioned house can add them up; the rate plan has to read both.
It is the zone farthest from the office: from Poggibonsi it takes from an hour and a half to over two hours, so here Tripcare builds and coordinates a network of local suppliers — cleaning, pool, garden, technician — instead of sending vans from afar, and says so in the proposal. Wind and salt on the coast, wild boar and water inland are the maintenance items that differ from Chianti.
Bolgheri, with its cypress avenue and DOC, sits further north on the Etruscan Coast and is the wine-tourism gateway to the area; Grosseto is the reference station and hospital for the coast, Orbetello for the Argentario. The towns covered are in the table below.
