A working farm, a reasonable distance from the villa, where children handle animals, see the oven or the milking, and eat what the estate produces. Not a theme park. Half a day or a full day, with pauses and shade; parents are not obliged to a parallel wine tour. The concierge checks minimum ages, clothing and whether you eat on site or return to the villa.

Pizza, tagliatelle or biscuits, at the villa or in a nearby teaching kitchen, with a chef used to small hands and short attention. Children mix; adults can stay or take an hour for themselves. You eat what you made; you do not watch a demonstrator. Flours, aprons, stools: the concierge puts them on the list with allergies, so the morning is not improvised.

Courses of rope bridges and ziplines through the pines, with harness, helmet and instructors on the ground; routes are graded by height, from age three or four to adults. Book the first entry of the morning: less queue at the kit stand, real shade, and you are back at the villa for the afternoon pool. Closed shoes and no skirts — it sounds obvious, it never is. Ninety minutes of actual activity, not waiting.
