Villa and Farmhouse Management in Chianti

Chianti is where Tripcare was founded and where our operational base sits: San Casciano in Val di Pesa lies exactly in the middle of the hill belt between Florence and Siena. It is the area we reach fastest of all, and the one we know road by road.

What managing a property in this area actually involves

The property stock here is mostly restored stone farmhouses and manor villas attached to wine estates, often at the end of gravel roads and with a pool, an olive grove and off-grid utilities. They are beautiful but demanding houses: wells and pressure pumps, septic systems, LPG boilers, cypresses and olives to prune. Serious management in Chianti is largely scheduled maintenance, not just guest welcome.

How the area works across the year

The season is long: it opens at Easter and runs to late October, with two distinct peaks — May–June for the landscape and September–October for the grape harvest, when guests stay longer and look for cellar experiences. November is olive-picking and heavy-maintenance month; winter is for major works.
