How to choose. Ask whether the garden is fully fenced: in country houses it often is only partly, and a dog following a deer at six in the morning is a story we would rather spare you. Check the distance from the road and whether the pool can be fenced. For summer pick houses with shade and terracotta floors, which stay cool. At check-in we leave you the nearest vet’s contacts and the trails where dogs can go off the lead.
Frequently asked questions
Are there extra charges for pets?
It depends on the house: some ask nothing, others a supplement for the final cleaning. We state it in the quote, so there are no surprises.
Can I bring more than one dog, or a large dog?
Often yes, but it has to be agreed beforehand: write to us with size and number, and we confirm house by house.
Are pets allowed in every room?
Usually yes inside the house, not on beds and sofas; some houses ask to keep them out of the bedrooms. We send the chosen house’s rules with the confirmation.
