How to choose. Village or estate: in town you have restaurants and shops downstairs and no need for the car in the evening, on an estate you have the silence, the pool and a hire car to use every day. Floors and stairs: in the historic centres the fifteenth-century buildings have steep stairs and no lift, and we always say so. Parking: in the villages it is outside the walls, a few minutes on foot; we point it out before arrival. For stays of more than a week ask for the weekly rate.

Those on estates and in resorts yes, shared with a few other units. Those in the historic centres no: in exchange you have the village outside the door.
Do I need a car?
In the villages not for daily life, yes for excursions. On the estates always: they are in the countryside, and the nearest shop is a few kilometres away. We deliver the hire car to the house, if you prefer.
