Villas for large groups in Tuscany: 10 guests and more
11 houses sleeping ten or more, up to twenty. They are the houses for occasions: three generations on holiday together, a fortieth celebrated with lifelong friends, a working week away. They have what a group discovers it wants on the second day: enough bathrooms, a table everybody fits around, two living areas for those who turn in early and those who do not, and a genuinely big pool.

How to choose
How to choose. Count bathrooms before bedrooms: a farmhouse with eight bedrooms and three bathrooms works worse than one with six of each. Ask how the bedrooms are laid out — all in the main house or some in an annexe — because for a family with small children that changes everything. For big groups we recommend a chef at the villa at least one evening and a shared transfer for excursions: it costs less than seven hire cars and nobody drives home. Write to us with the exact number of adults and children: the right house depends on that.
Frequently asked questions
Does the guest number include children?
Yes: it is the maximum number of people sleeping in the house, children included. Babies in cots usually do not count, but tell us when you write so we prepare the cot and high chair.
Can you arrange dinners and transfers for the whole group?
Yes. A chef at the villa, private tastings, a minibus with driver for excursions: the concierge arranges them before arrival, and for groups they are often the most appreciated part of the stay.
Is there a minimum stay for the big houses?
In high season, July and August, usually seven nights Saturday to Saturday. The rest of the year three or four nights. For a long weekend out of season, ask: it is often possible.
