The fear of owners who live in their villa is always the same: that renting will make it less theirs. A real risk if improvised — and a non-problem if organised: a wardrobe or a room that locks with personal things, an inventory of what stays available to guests, and the ritual of the handover: when you leave, the house is prepared for guests; before you return, it becomes exactly yours again.
A hybrid calendar demands honesty at planning time: the central summer weeks are worth a lot, and keeping them for yourself has an opportunity cost that should be known, not suffered. We put the seasons’ numbers in front of you and you choose — some keep July and rent the rest, some do the opposite. There is no universally right choice; there is yours, taken with the data.

Frequently asked questions
Where do our personal things go when the villa is rented?
Into locked, agreed spaces — a wardrobe, a room, an annexe — with an inventory of what stays in guest use. Restoration is part of the service: when you return, your things are back in place and the house is, recognisably, yours again.
Can we change our own dates from year to year?
Yes: the calendar is planned together at the start of each season and your dates take priority. The only mutual commitment is seriousness about bookings already accepted — those are honoured — and reasonable notice for changes touching high season.
Is renting just a few weeks a year worth it?
Often yes, if they are the right weeks: in high season a few well-sold weeks can cover the house’s annual costs. The simulation we prepare shows the value of each window, so you decide which to release knowing exactly what they are worth.
