Tripcare manages second homes in Tuscany for owners who live elsewhere: the house stays yours and available whenever you want it, rents in the weeks it would sit empty, and the income covers the costs you currently pay outright — maintenance, utilities, garden. With someone checking it even when nobody is there.
A second home used a few weeks a year works backwards: it costs twelve months and lives two. And in the ten empty months, problems do not wait for you: a water leak discovered at Easter has had all winter to do damage. Management’s first value, before the income, is that the house is never alone — regular checks, heating and systems monitored, a garden that does not announce your absence.
You command the calendar: block your own weeks whenever you like, certain to find the house ready — cleaned, beds made, the fridge stocked on request. The rest of the year the house works. Many of our owners started with a simple goal, “cover the costs”, and found that a well-run house does more.

Can I use my second home whenever I want, even under management?
Yes: your weeks are blocked in the calendar before anything else, and the house waits for you ready, cleaned and in order. The only agreement needed is notice for very-high-season dates, where every week counts: decided together, in writing, at the start.
Who checks the house in the months it is not rented?
Our team, with periodic documented visits: systems, damp, garden, pool if there is one. Every check leaves a trace — photos and notes in the statement — so you know how the house is doing even from afar, without having to ask.
Does renting really cover a second home’s costs?
It depends on the house, the zone and the weeks you keep for yourself — which is why we promise no figures: we prepare a free assessment with realistic ranges for your specific case. The minimum goal, covering running costs, is realistic for most houses we accept under management.
